YOUNGSTOWN — Bond was established at $66,000 when Tawhon W. Easterly, 43, was arraigned Monday in Youngstown Municipal Court on felonious assault and other rates tied to a Sunday incident, in which Easterly is accused of shooting at a Youngstown police officer on the North Side.
The officer was not injured.
Easterly, of Manhattan Avenue, appeared by online video from the Mahoning County jail ahead of Judge Carla Baldwin, who agreed with the bond quantities advised by Charles Mickens, assistant Youngstown regulation director. Easterly remained in the Mahoning County jail as of Monday afternoon.
