Mariska Hargitay is mourning the loss of her “Regulation & Buy: Special Victims Unit” co-star Ned Eisenberg.
On Wednesday, the actress took to Instagram and paid tribute to her late castmate, who passed away on Sunday at age 65.
“My coronary heart is so comprehensive of unhappiness about the decline of our pricey, expensive Ned Eisenberg,” the 57-yr-outdated wrote. “What a gentle and what a like. And these a 1st-price actor, which pales upcoming to him as a to start with-price human.”
“We will keep in mind him always with his brilliant, mischievous smile and his large-open up coronary heart,” she shared. “We love and overlook you, sweet Ned.”

The star also posted a photograph of the actor smiling though carrying a match.
“It is a unhappy day in the SVU history he was a truly good lawyer,” she captioned the snap with a crying emoji.
Eisenberg died at his New York residence, his representatives confirmed to Fox Information Digital.
The beloved onscreen and phase star experienced been battling two types of most cancers prior to this death: cholangiocarcinoma and ocular melanoma. His agents at Nicolosi & Co. and Ned’s spouse Patricia commended the star for his brave fight.

The Bronx indigenous also guest-starred in several Television shows, which include “The Great Mrs. Maisel,” “30 Rock,” “The Significant C,” “The Blacklist,” “Bull,” “Elementary,” “White Collar,” “The Superior Spouse,” “Madam Secretary,” “The Plot In opposition to America,” “New Amsterdam,” and more.

Eisenberg co-established the Naked Angels Theatre Business in 1987. His expert theater profession started in Neil Simon’s “Brighton Beach Memoirs,” and he also appeared on Broadway in “The Green Bird,” “Awake and Sing!,” and “Golden Boy.”
Most lately, he appeared in the revival of “Six Degrees of Separation,” directed by Trip Cullman.
He is survived by his spouse, actress Patricia Dunnock, and son, Lino Eisenberg.
