Prince George’s County Felon Pleads Guilty to Federal Charge for Illegal Possession of a Firearm | USAO-MD

Greenbelt, Maryland – Kweisi Akeem Grey, age 27, of Lanham, Maryland, pleaded guilty yesterday to the federal cost of currently being a felon in possession of a firearm.

In accordance to his guilty plea, on April 9, 2021, a Prince George’s County Law enforcement officer noticed a car or truck backed into a parking area with its engine working in the Riverdale Street region in New Carrollton, Maryland.  The auto experienced no front tag and the rear short-term tag experienced expired in September 2020.  Quite a few adult males appeared to be cigarette smoking inside of and exterior the vehicle.

Grey realized that as a consequence of a past felony conviction, he was prohibited from possessing a firearm or ammunition.
